Jason Webb of Australian Horsemanship is delighted to present Steve Brady in a series of clinics and demonstrations on his first working visit to the UK. Widely acknowledged as one of Australia’s most exceptional and influential horsemen, Steve brings with him a lifetime’s knowledge of horses and teaching people to have a better understanding of training their horses.
Steve spent the first part of his career educating horses; starting horses under saddle, working with problem horses and educating competition horses in all disciplines from dressage and eventing to western and polo. The second half of his career has been dedicated to teaching people to advance their horses by educating and improving themselves. As a result he conducts over 60 two day clinics a year throughout Australia and New Zealand. For the past thirty years he has also given displays with his highly educated horses at top international equestrian events, showing incredible feats of horsemanship such as bridleless piaffe!
Steve will be taking three two day clinics in May and June in the UK in which participants will learn an effective formula of exercises both on the ground and under saddle that will give them safe, successful and humane control of their horse. Appealing to riders of all disciplines, the logical progression through the clinic is designed to improve the horse’s submission, suppleness and responsiveness as well as improving the relationship between horse and rider. In addition to the clinics, Steve will also be performing with Jason in three evening demonstrations that promise to be highly informative and entertaining!
Jason believes this is an opportunity not to be missed, “I am really looking forward to working with Steve, an outstanding horseman who has trained and continues to influence some of the world’s most outstanding trainers, including my ‘mentor’ who taught me in Australia. He is a guy that can train horses in Grand Prix movements at liberty and under saddle but can also connect and help the most inexperienced of riders. I hope to think anyone who comes to his clinics or our demo’s will go away with something that will improve their horse’s way of going!” Jason also hopes that this will be the first in many future ventures with top Australian trainers and competitors, “I want to work with not only top Australian competition riders but those ‘outback horsemen’ who have lived and breathed horses all their life and bring a different aspect to horse training.”
