Description: |
Haydon Dancer's pedigree is second to none, combining the Belltrees and Haydon bloodlines, both renowned for producing outstanding polo ponies. However, his stunning looks and movement have won him numerous awards in the showring and dressage arena, including Champion Stallion Hack at the Queensland ASH Championships and the Nat Buchanan Trophy for dressage. His competitive career was ended through injury, but not before he gained 'Supreme' ASHS status in the All-round and Working categories.
Dancer's dam was a well-performed polo mare, with her pedigree running back to Young Valais, a great sire of polo ponies and ASH Taproot Sire. Dancer's sire is exceptionally well-bred and has eleven full-brothers and sisters, all of whom were champions in a variety of disciplines, including polo and polocrosse. They include the legendary mare, Nabinabah Breezette, who 'probably has a performance record that will never be matched by any other horse.'
Progeny
Dancer's first crop of foals are now starting to make their mark in the showring and judging from the quality of his stock, he has been tipped to be one of the 'next big things' in Stock Horse breeding. Again, we are
extremely lucky to have such a top-quality and versatile stallion for our breeding programme, and look forward to his progeny competing in a range of equestrian disciplines.
