Penny Webb

I grew up on Risebridge Farm and have ridden all my life. I represented the UK in polocrosse and played Hockey and netball to county level. I did a degree in Sports Science and Geography at Loughborough University and pursued a career in sports marketing with Octagon Marketing in London. I then decided to go to Australia to try and persuade Jason to come and live in England! After qualifying as a teacher, I am now teaching PE part-time at Marlborough House School whilst bringing up Jack and Rosie!


Sarah Muir - Yard Manager

Sarah is our Manager at Risebridge and she works closely with Jason to ensure that our clients training needs are met. Sarah is a highly qualified Trainer and Rider having obtained a University HND in Equine Management and Training. Sarah is also BHS/NVQ Certified and has a Kelly Marks Foundation Certificate having trained with Kelly in Oxford . Sarah possesses a great deal of experience in producing horses for competition and has had great success on her own and clients horses in Dressage, Show-Jumping, Cross-Country and even carriage driving, at local level and affiliated. Sarah is able to school and produce your horse at Risebridge and once they are trained you can enjoy lessons on them enabling you to move forwards in your chosen discipline.


Rhona Birkbeck - Groom

Rhona brings a wealth of experience to the role of Head Groom and is dedicated to the welfare of the horses at Risebridge. Having trained with Kelly Marks, Rhona has also completed her Equine Touch Level 1. Although currently horseless, she enjoys competing at dressage and jumping at a local level.

Gwyn Parry - Groom

Gwyn has a farming background, and enjoys helping out with her parent's farm and livery business. She has ridden from a young age and currently owns her own horse. A member of Ashford Valley Pony Club, she enjoys competing all activities.

Jess Hunt - Groom

Jess has ridden from a young age and currently owns her own horse that she competes in all disciplines and hunts during the winter with the Ashford Valley . She recently won Dressage Championships, representing Ashford Valley Pony Club.

Wendy Muir - Sales Advisor

Wendy has joined us to set up a retail aspect to the business, with a focus on selling equestrian equipment that Jason uses on a daily basis. Wendy has had a lifelong involvement with horses, not least helping out her daughter, Sarah, at events!

Richard & Lindie Hillier

Richard and Lindie Hillier rent the farmland and facilities to us and are an incredibly important part of the set-up. They have put in a lot of time and effort into making the facilities top class and are always ready to lend a hand.
