Jason’s popular Coffee Mornings, are where we open the yard up for people to come and view the facilities, meet the staff, browse our products for sale and watch Jason work on horses currently in for training, are held on the first Tuesday of every month! Please see our Calendar page for dates!

Jason is in demand for his ‘real life’ approach to demonstrations, which regularly include working with unknown horses, first rides on young horses, bad loaders, problem horses and of course mucking around with his trusty sidekick, Risebridge Diesel! He has performed at national events such as ToastLife Festival (Clapham Common, London), Your Horse Live, Worshipful Company of Saddlers AGM, Kent Game & Equine Fair and South West Christmas Equine Fair and has had very well received evening lecture demonstrations at top venues such as Hadlow College.
“After watching your demo I decided to try loading our 20yr old cob that hadn’t been loaded in over 10 years. He had many issues with loading but using your techniques, he loaded perfectly in 20mins of trying, even walking calmly down the ramp afterwards! Thank you for your sharing your technique and encouraging me to do something I had been dreading for a long time!” Amy Knibbs

In 2009, Jason met leading Equine Sports Psychologist, Charlie Unwin, www.performancelegacy.com and talking to him was like fitting the last pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together for Jason and his training methods! Jason and Charlie recognised that many of their theories about human and equine behaviour had a lot in common and that by teaching people about both their own behaviour and that of their horse would lead to a greater understanding and partnership between horse and rider.
In June 2011, they performed their first “Meeting of Minds” evening lecture demonstration together at Hadlow College in front of 200 people, before performing together at Your Horse Live 2011, both of which were very well received:
“Thoroughly enjoyed the demo last night. Jason’s enthusiasm and limitless patience shone through and I felt so many connections to things Charlie was saying. New approach for me from now on – thank you guys!” Caroline Every
“Brilliant! Jason and Charlie’s approaches complimented each other really well. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my totally non-horsey Mum!” Emma Dawson
